Webstock showed me that our sites can be cutting edge and conform to standards at the same time. And most importantly, it got me started to develop a long-term vision, and stick to it. When I feel the non-Webstockers getting to me, I simply shout "Code For Freedom!" and the vision pops right back into view. Which is why I'm telling all my peers about Webstock 08, and why I plan to be there!
