Tom Coates makes new things on the Internet. At the moment the new thing he is making is called Thington. Previously he was Head of Product for the Yahoo incubator Brickhouse where he developed the pioneering location sharing project Fire Eagle. He’s also run a small R&D group at the BBC and developed products for UpMyStreet, Time Out, Jawbone, Nokia and many others. He’s had time to do all of this because he’s very old.
