This free event is a public demo session to showcase the projects developed at Victoria University of Wellington's International XR Workshop (https://sites.google.com/view/xrworkshop).

On show will be AR/VR projects developed by students with head mounted display hardware such as MagicLeap 1, HTC Vive, Occulus Quest/Go, and MS HoloLens. For example you will be able to see how to learn the Maori language in exciting and novel ways, interact with simulated real world experiences, and play novel games all designed by students.

If you have been curious about Augmented Reality and Virtual Reality, please come along and try for yourself.

The demo evening is FREE and open to the public, but you MUST register.

The demonstrations will be on level 3 of NEC House at Wellington ICT Graduate School and Computational Media Innovation Centre (CMIC) at Victoria University of Wellington, 40 Taranaki St, Wellington, 6011. Please come along anytime from 4:30pm – 6:30pm.
